Export Controls & Sanctions Compliance Policy

Overview

Alt+Shift+X operates an AI component marketplace and subscription platform. In compliance with applicable trade sanctions laws and regulations, access to and purchase of any component, subscription, or service on this platform is subject to the following restrictions.

Prohibited Parties

The following parties are strictly prohibited from accessing, purchasing, or using any paid feature of Alt+Shift+X:

Sanctioned Countries and Territories Access is prohibited for individuals and entities located in, ordinarily resident in, or organized under the laws of any country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions, including but not limited to:

Russia and Belarus
North Korea (DPRK)
Iran
Syria
Cuba
Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine

Sanctioned Entities and Individuals Access is prohibited for any person or entity appearing on:

U.S. Treasury OFAC Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List
EU Consolidated Sanctions List (Common Foreign & Security Policy)
UK Financial Sanctions List (OFSI)
UN Security Council Consolidated Sanctions List
Any equivalent list maintained by a NATO-member state sanctions authority

50% Rule Any entity owned 50% or more, directly or indirectly, by a sanctioned party is also prohibited.

Our Screening Program

Alt+Shift+X operates a three-layer sanctions compliance program:

Layer 1 — Payment Processor Screening All transactions are processed through Stripe, Inc., a licensed money transmitter that independently screens every transaction against the OFAC SDN List and EU Consolidated Sanctions List at the point of payment.

Layer 2 — Buyer Representation All marketplace purchases require a pre-purchase compliance acknowledgment. Buyers must affirmatively confirm they are not a sanctioned party before checkout proceeds. This creates a per-transaction, timestamped legal record.

Layer 3 — Terms of Service Our Terms of Service contain a binding Export Controls clause that applies at account creation. Every registered user has agreed that access by sanctioned parties is prohibited.

Enforcement

Alt+Shift+X reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate access to any account for which there is reasonable suspicion of sanctions evasion. We will report suspected violations to relevant authorities as required by law.
