ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

Alt+Shift+X Platform

Operated by: Trust AR LLC, a West Virginia limited liability company, doing business as Alt+Shift+X 1405 Earl L. Core Rd., Morgantown, WV 26501, United States


This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the conduct of all users — Buyers, Builders, and visitors — on the Alt+Shift+X platform operated by Trust AR LLC d/b/a Alt+Shift+X. It supplements the Terms of Service and Builder Agreement. By using the Platform, you agree to this AUP in full. Violation may result in immediate account suspension or termination.


SECTION 1 — GENERAL CONDUCT

All users of the Platform must:

(a) Use the Platform only for its intended purposes — discovering, purchasing, building, and deploying AI components in lawful, ethical, and constructive applications;

(b) Comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations;

(c) Treat other users, Builders, and Platform staff with respect. Harassment, threats, intimidation, or abusive conduct toward any person is prohibited;

(d) Provide accurate and truthful information in all interactions with the Platform, including account registration, Component submissions, reviews, and support requests;

(e) Maintain the security of your account credentials and promptly report any suspected unauthorized access to info@altshiftx.tech.


SECTION 2 — PROHIBITED USES

2.1 Illegal Activity

  • Using the Platform to plan, facilitate, or execute any activity that violates applicable law
  • Using the Platform in violation of trade sanctions or export control laws (see Export Controls & Sanctions Compliance Policy)
  • Money laundering, fraud, or financial crime of any kind
  • Identity theft, impersonation, or credential theft

2.2 Harmful Content

  • Uploading, submitting, generating, or distributing content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, promotes violence or terrorism, constitutes hate speech, or violates any person's privacy or dignity
  • Generating or distributing disinformation, deepfakes, or synthetic media designed to deceive
  • Creating or distributing content that sexualizes minors in any way

2.3 Intellectual Property Violations

  • Submitting Components that infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property right
  • Reproducing, distributing, or publicly displaying any Platform content or Component content beyond the scope of your license
  • Circumventing any digital rights management (DRM) or access control mechanism

2.4 Security Violations

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any Platform account, system, database, or network
  • Conducting or facilitating any cyberattack — including DoS/DDoS, SQL injection, XSS, brute force, credential stuffing, or man-in-the-middle attacks
  • Uploading or transmitting malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, adware, or any other malicious code
  • Exploiting any Platform vulnerability — instead, report responsibly per the Security Vulnerability Disclosure Policy (/legal/security-disclosure)
  • Bypassing any Platform security feature, rate limit, authentication mechanism, or access control
  • Using automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) without express written authorization

2.5 Platform Integrity Violations

  • Artificially inflating or suppressing any Component's rating, review count, install count, or trust score
  • Creating fake accounts, duplicate accounts, or bot accounts
  • Coordinating to manipulate Platform metrics or gaming any Platform algorithm
  • Offering, soliciting, or accepting any benefit in exchange for reviews
  • Using the Platform to harvest user data for purposes outside the scope of legitimate Component operation
  • Directing Buyers to transact outside the Platform to avoid Revenue Share obligations (Builders)
  • Submitting substantially identical Components under different names to dominate marketplace categories

2.6 Prohibited Component Behaviors

Components published on the Platform must not:

  • Collect user data beyond what is disclosed and necessary for the Component's stated function
  • Contain hidden functionality, backdoors, or unauthorized data exfiltration
  • Generate outputs that could constitute unlicensed professional advice without clear disclaimers
  • Be used to surveil, stalk, or monitor individuals without their knowledge and consent
  • Produce outputs designed to manipulate, deceive, or psychologically harm users

2.7 Spam & Unsolicited Communications

  • Using the Platform or user data obtained through it to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam)
  • Using Platform messaging features for bulk unsolicited outreach
  • Harvesting email addresses from the Platform for marketing purposes

2.8 Misuse of AI Outputs

  • Using AI Component outputs as a substitute for licensed professional advice without appropriate human review and professional oversight
  • Presenting AI Component outputs as human-generated content where that distinction is material
  • Using AI Component outputs to create misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent content about real people or organizations

SECTION 3 — BUILDER-SPECIFIC PROHIBITED USES

In addition to Section 2, Builders must not:

(a) Submit Components they do not own or have the right to publish; (b) Submit Components on behalf of or for the benefit of a Sanctioned Party; (c) Misrepresent Component capabilities, performance, or features in any submission; (d) Use access to the Platform's Builder infrastructure to build competing platforms or to reverse-engineer Platform systems; (e) Contact or solicit Buyers directly through means obtained through the Platform for purposes outside the scope of Component operation.


SECTION 4 — ENFORCEMENT

4.1 Violation Consequences

Violations may result in, at Trust AR LLC d/b/a Alt+Shift+X's sole discretion:

  • A warning and mandatory content removal
  • Temporary account suspension
  • Permanent account termination
  • Forfeiture of escrowed or pending earnings (for Builders)
  • Legal action including claims for damages
  • Reporting to law enforcement or regulatory authorities

4.2 Immediate Permanent Termination (No Prior Notice)

The following violations result in immediate, permanent termination:

  • Any sanctions or export control violation
  • Submission of Components containing malicious code
  • Content that sexualizes minors
  • Confirmed fraud against the Platform or its users
  • Cyberattacks or deliberate security compromise of the Platform

4.3 Reporting Violations

4.4 No Liability for Third-Party Violations

Trust AR LLC d/b/a Alt+Shift+X is not responsible for the conduct of third-party users on the Platform.


SECTION 5 — RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER POLICIES

This AUP is incorporated into and supplements:

  • Terms of Service (Section 3 — Platform Access & Acceptable Use)
  • Builder Agreement (Section 12 — Builder Conduct & Prohibited Actions)
  • Export Controls & Sanctions Compliance Policy
  • Sensitive Intelligence Policy (for Platform agent conduct)

In any conflict between this AUP and the ToS or Builder Agreement on matters of user conduct, the more specific and more restrictive provision applies.


SECTION 6 — UPDATES

Material changes communicated via email and/or Platform notice with at least 14 days' advance notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
