AI Disclosure & Disclaimer Policy — Alt+Shift+X
AI DISCLOSURE & DISCLAIMER POLICY
Alt+Shift+X Platform
Effective Date: June 14, 2026 | Version: 2.0
Operated by: Trust AR LLC, a West Virginia limited liability company, doing business as Alt+Shift+X 1405 Earl L. Core Rd., Morgantown, WV 26501, United States
SECTION 1 — OVERVIEW
Alt+Shift+X is an AI-powered platform owned and operated by Trust AR LLC d/b/a Alt+Shift+X. This policy discloses how artificial intelligence is used on the Platform, the inherent limitations of AI-generated outputs, and the standards users must apply when relying on AI Component outputs for consequential decisions.
This disclosure is provided in compliance with applicable and emerging AI transparency requirements including: FTC guidance on AI disclosure; the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act); emerging U.S. state AI disclosure laws; and general best practices for responsible AI deployment.
SECTION 2 — HOW AI IS USED ON THIS PLATFORM
2.1 AI Components (The Marketplace)
Every Component on the Alt+Shift+X platform is AI-powered. When you install and use a Component, you are interacting with an artificial intelligence system built by a Builder (third-party developer).
2.2 Platform AI Agents
| Agent | Role | Access | |---|---|---| | The UpKeeper | Master platform superintendent AI. Manages site health, content, social media, and operational decisions. | Admin/staff only | | BOB | Business Operations Bot. Assists Builders and Buyers with platform questions and workflows. | All users | | The Sentinel | Platform security AI. Monitors for threats, anomalies, and policy violations. | Internal/automated | | The Front Man | Public-facing customer experience agent. | All users | | Magna Dev Agents | Specialized AI agents for knowledge, strategy, compliance, and reasoning tasks embedded in Components. | Component subscribers |
When you interact with any of these agents, you are communicating with an AI system — not a human. These agents will truthfully identify themselves as AI if asked directly.
2.3 AI-Assisted Operations
The Platform uses AI assistance in: content moderation and review; security monitoring; fraud detection; analytics and reporting; social media content generation; and platform maintenance recommendations. Human administrators review and approve all significant decisions made with AI assistance.
SECTION 3 — LIMITATIONS OF AI OUTPUTS
3.1 AI Outputs Are Probabilistic
All AI Component outputs are probabilistic — generated based on patterns in training data. They are not deterministic facts. The same prompt may produce different outputs at different times. Outputs may be plausible-sounding but factually incorrect.
3.2 AI Can Hallucinate
AI systems can produce outputs that are confidently stated but factually wrong ("hallucinations"). This is an inherent characteristic of current AI technology. Users must not treat AI outputs as authoritative facts without independent verification.
3.3 AI Is Not a Professional Advisor
Nothing generated by any Component on this Platform constitutes:
- Legal advice or a substitute for consultation with a licensed attorney
- Medical advice or a substitute for consultation with a licensed healthcare professional
- Financial or investment advice or a substitute for consultation with a licensed financial advisor
- Engineering, architectural, or safety advice requiring professional certification
- Any other form of licensed professional advice
3.4 AI Outputs Reflect Training Data
Outputs may reflect biases, gaps, outdated information, or perspectives in the underlying training data and may not reflect the most current information or regulatory standards.
3.5 AI Does Not Guarantee Outcomes
No Component guarantees any specific outcome, performance result, or business result.
SECTION 4 — USER RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1 Human Review Required
You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and exercising independent judgment about all AI Component outputs before acting on them.
4.2 Professional Oversight for High-Stakes Decisions
For decisions in regulated domains — medical, legal, financial, safety-critical engineering — you must have a qualified human professional review any AI-generated output before it is used.
4.3 Transparency with End Recipients
If you use AI Component outputs in materials others will rely on, you are responsible for ensuring recipients are appropriately informed of the AI-generated nature of the content where required by law.
4.4 Compliance with AI Laws in Your Jurisdiction
You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI Components complies with all AI-related laws in your jurisdiction — including the EU AI Act (if deploying in the EU), U.S. state AI disclosure laws, sector-specific AI regulations, and anti-discrimination laws.
SECTION 5 — AI AGENT IDENTITY DISCLOSURE
5.1 Agents Are AI
All named platform agents are artificial intelligence systems. They are not human. They do not have personal experiences, emotions, or consciousness.
5.2 Agents Will Identify Themselves
If you directly and sincerely ask any platform agent whether it is human or AI, it will truthfully identify itself as AI. Platform agents are not designed to deceive users about their nature.
5.3 Agent Limitations
Platform agents may make errors, have knowledge cutoffs, produce incorrect outputs, or fail to understand nuanced requests. Treat agent outputs as a starting point for your own judgment, not a final answer.
SECTION 6 — EU AI ACT NOTICE
Alt+Shift+X is actively monitoring the implementation of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) and is committed to compliance with its requirements as they come into effect. Buyers deploying Components in the EU are responsible for conducting their own EU AI Act compliance assessment for their specific use case.
SECTION 7 — UPDATES
This policy will be updated as AI regulations evolve. Material updates communicated with at least 14 days' advance notice via email and Platform notice.
